Veteran actor John Doman is no stranger to playing powerful, authoritative men, experience which has well served Gotham's depiction of Don Carmine Falcone. The character has been treated in a completely opposite fashion of someone like Salvatore Maroni or Fish Mooney. Whereas those characters are loud and hammy, Doman's Falcone is subtle, pragmatic and intimidating. With some strong writing and Doman effective performance, Falcone has been a breath of fresh air in Gotham's putrid sea of madness.
