10. Teen Wolf

It's a recurring issue with a lot of shows that as they go on, they lose sight of what they once were. 

Teen Wolf was made very much in the mould of Buffy: A group of outcast high schoolers are thrown into a new, supernatural world, and must decide who they want to be. 

The results were always fun with Teen Wolf, the adventures and relationships of werewolf Scott (Tyler Posey) and his closest friends often leading to some solid laughs and decent horror. But as the series progressed, this nagging need to create a big spectacle and call back to previous seasons overcame it. 

In its final season, with a handful of fan favourite actors nowhere to be seen, Teen Wolf turned itself from a gritty coming-of-age drama to a show about a worldwide war between humanity and the supernatural. It was a step too far for a show once so intimate... and the less said about the impressively awful sequel movie, the better.
