9. Alaqua Cox - Maya Lopez

From the very beginning, the MCU has balanced its cast between huge stars like Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, and Sir Anthony Hopkins, with relative unknowns who went on to be stars, like Tom Hiddleston, Chris Hemsworth, and Tom Holland.

This will continue with Hawkeye, as youngster Alaqua Cox will make her acting debut alongside some big names, portraying Maya Lopez, a character better known in the comics as Echo.

Introduced by Marvel in 1999, Echo has abilities similar to that of Taskmaster, in that she is able to essentially copy any action that she sees. After a sketchy past, working closely with Kingpin against Daredevil, Echo went soul searching, and found herself instead aligned with the many other Marvel heroes rather than with Wilson Fisk.

The Native American has had numerous dealings with Hawkeye, Daredevil, Wolverine, and even the Avengers under the guise of Ronin, and after Eternals' Makkari, will be only the second deaf hero introduced into the MCU.
