It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: 10 Most Emotional Moments

10. Frank's Not Part Of The Game (Waiting For Big Mo)

The idea of the gang playing laser tag was genius, and fans were ready to see some inventive moments in this episode, similar to Community's infamous paintball episodes. Sadly, Waiting For Big Mo didn't deliver on this, as it mostly revolved around the gang talking in the same room. However, there was one brief moment that caught people's attention.

After Dennis reveals to Charlie that his intention in the game isn't to have fun, but to win, we see as Frank Reynolds runs into the room having a whale of a time. It's clear right away that his gun pack isn't on, and Charlie accidentally reveals this to him.

Dennis explains to Frank that his device is turned off deliberately because he'd be a hinderance to the score, and even calls him a "monster" who's goal is to distract the kids.

In most scenarios, this would be hilarious, but it gets a deeper reaction as Frank seems truly deflated by this, and his happy mood instantly turns sour as he realises that his friends don't want him to play with them.

It's such a small little moment, but packs a large emotional punch thanks to the innocence that Frank displays, the reaction of Dennis/Charlie, and the wonderful performance from Danny DeVito.
