ROBIN HOOD's Lara Pulver gets TRUE BLOOD
British actress Lara Pulver joins HBO's award-winning vampire drama as a "fairy godmother"
The cast of HBO's True Blood continues to swell, with British actress Lara Pulver (Robin Hood) and Michael Steger (90210) now joining the third season. Pulver will be playing Claudine, the "fairy godmother" of telepathic waitress Sookie (Anna Paquin), in a role that's likely to become recurring; while Steger will play a gay prostitute called Tony for one episode. Other new faces set to debut on the popular vampire series include: Joe Manganiello (One Tree Hill) as werewolf Alcide Herveaux; Brit Morgan (The Middleman) as Debbie Pelt; Cooper Huckabee as Sam's father; Alfre Woodard (Desperate Housewives) as Lafayette's mother; Kevin Alejandro (Southland) as Jesus, a love-interest for Lafayette; Denis O'Hare as Russel Edgington, the Vampire King of Mississippi; and Grant Bowler (Outrageous Fortune) as the leader of a werewolf biker gang. Season 3 of True Blood returns to HBO on 13 June.
