6. What Are David's Powers Like Now He's Shadow King Free?

Speaking of David's powers, we don't yet have a full grasp of just what he can and can't do. Before his stint in the Clockworks psychiatric home, David didn't have a lot of control and his telekinesis and telepathy mostly only came out in short, destructive bursts. The more the Shadow King took over, though, the more powerful he became. For instance, the time he eviscerated Division Three's goons while rescuing his sister Amy.

And yet in the final episode, when the Shadow King is held in check by Cary's halo, David is still able to pile up some more unfortunate Division Three henchmen with a flick of his wrist. There is also the strange matter of when he repeatedly told Clark he didn't have to be afraid. This seems to be a callback to earlier in the episode when Clark told his husband that he was scared. Can David read minds now?

So does David now have so much control over his powers that he is gaining new ones, now that the Shadow King has gone? Or will David getting a grip on his own abilities form one of the story arcs of season two?
