6. The Mystery Woman Is Verity Willis

When a woman with shoulder length blonde hair strikingly reminiscent of Black Widow's Infinity War look cropped up in the Loki trailer, naturally fans started talking and theorising. The two prevailing theories were that this was either Nat herself, or possibly Lady Loki.

While the latter seems far more likely than the former in this instance, there is another fan theory that suggests it could be neither. Instead, the mystery woman could be Verity Willis, a relatively obscure character from the comics, but one that could become incredibly important to Loki's character in the MCU.

During the Agent of Asgard run, in which Loki is tasked with essentially cancelling out his bad deeds with good, he meets Verity and the two bond. Her unique power of being able to see through Loki's illusions and tricks allowed her to see him for who he really was, something that not many others can claim. Not even Thor.

At the point in Loki's life where the show takes place, at the height of his villainy and before any Dark World and Ragnarok redemption, giving him a close friend and companion will offer the character another dimension never really seen before. He has had close relationships with his brother and his mother, but never before a friend.
