Love Island: 10 Reasons To Still Be Excited For Season 7

10. A Potential New Location

During the first ever Winter edition of Love Island, the islanders were re-located the set to a beautiful Midden Cottage, in the Constantia suburb of Cape Town. It was a refreshingly different setting and viewers got to feast their eyes on the lavish new villa as a backdrop for the drama.

And with the upcoming series of an unknown starting date, there is plenty of time for the creators to revise over new areas to film the show. The latest suggestion is for Series 7 to be filmed in The Canary Islands. As any dedicated fan knows, the romantic couples of Love Island are often sent out on fun and adventurous dates and the setting of The Canary Islands is ideal for this. It’s a popular holiday destination because it’s versatile for its activities – surfing, golfing, exploring wildlife etc.

And more intriguingly, there is potential for the latest series to be recorded in the Isle of Man – one of Great Britain’s very own locations. It’s a place filled with stunning beaches and captivating scenery, and it would certainly defeat the stereotype that the UK is just London with no sunshine. After all, a British show deserves to have a good reputation of its own culture.
