7. The New Opening Titles

MacGyver's catchy theme tune is one of the show's most attractive and recognisable qualities, and it's only fair that the creators provide a nifty opening title sequence to go along with it. The series is given a new set of credits each season and, while the first season's intro is still the best to date, the new credit sequence is definitely an improvement on the previous one.

Gone is that green filter, replaced with several shots of Mac coming up with new gadgets, as well as images that go hand-in-hand with the corresponding actor's name that appears alongside them. Speaking of the actors, it's rather interesting that Tristin Mays has been moved above George Eads in the credits, and one can't help but wonder if this means Jack will have less of a role in the third season.
