2. A Follow-Up Documentary (Of Sorts) Is In Development
Avery supporters (and opponents) eager for an update on the case will soon get one in the form of a TV special, as US network Investigation Discovery is dedicating an episode of Front Page to the unanswered questions surrounding the Halbach murder. This unofficial Making A Murderer follow-up will be an independent production, made without any input from Demos and Ricciardi, but will attempt to get to the bottom of some of the issues the Netflix series raised. The episode aims to provide critical, crucial evidence and testimonies that answer some of the lingering questions about Avery, Dassey, and Halbachs death. Produced in conjunction with NBC News, the special will air in the US in late January and be hosted by Datelines Keith Morrison.
