Next we get a look at the company that Rand is trying to talk his way into the offices of: Rand Enterprises, the business owned by his father and which should now belong to him (except everyone thinks he's long dead).

In the comics, it's known as Rand Corporation or Rand-Meachum Industries, created by Danny's father Wendell along with business partner Harold Meachum. Setup for research and investment, it became a multi-million dollar conglomerate. Despite the name change, it'll likely fulfil a similar role here, with hints already of a battle for ownership of the company.
