18. Dr. Tiboldt

On top of the appearance by obscure Marvel character The Whizzer, there's another rarely seen character referenced.

When Trish mentions going to a hypnotist, she name-checks him as Dr Tiboldt which is a reference to Maynard Tiboldt, the real world alter-ego of hypnotic Marvel villain The Ringmaster from the comics - who has his own Circus Of Crime in the source material.

It's unlikely we'll actually get to see The Ringmaster in full villain get-up, but this fits with Netflix and Marvel's habit of using more minor names from the comics to flesh out supporting characters in the shows.
