10. Dr Karl Malus

Eventually, we find out that the man behind IGH and Alisa's murder spree is Dr Karl Malus, the show's version of a mad scientist archetype.

And he's from the comics too, albeit with far more venom to him. On the page, Dr Malus is a maniac who experiments on superhumans to seek a means to make monstrous hybrid super-criminals as the found of the Institute for Supranormality Research.

He was eventually eaten by Carnage, but then returned after being pooped out (seriously) and became a human/symbiote amalgamation in the All-New, All-Different Marvel event.
