In 2015, an adaptation of Damage Control was announced as being in development for ABC under the guidance of Ben Karlin, a former EP for The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. Unfortunately, not much else has come out of it, with a suggestion earlier this year that the show would premiere during the 2016-17 season proving fruitless, as here we are and the show is still nowhere to be found.

Unlike Most Wanted, no one has come out and said that Damage Control is dead, which is a good thing, because the Marvel Cinematic Universe has nothing quite like it: a half-hour sitcom following the lives of the cleanup crew assigned to deal with the messes left behind by the superheroes and villains of the world.

How closely it adheres to the comics, which saw MCU heavy hitters like Tony Stark and Wilson Fisk involved in the company's origins, and how the sitcom style will mesh with the rest of the franchise is anyone's guess at this point. But if and when it finally does happen, Marvel deserves credit for their willingness to take such a unique risk, making it easy - if even just for curiosity's sake - to look forward to what's in store.
