As the old poster teases early in the show, Jack Murdock once fought Carl "Crusher" Creel, who appeared in Season 2 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the super-villain Absorbing Man.

In the second episode, other posters appear in the background of Murdock's gym with some familiar names, including nods to writers Christos and Ruth Gage and Luke Kalteux, Daredevil artist Lee Weeks, art director Al Stenzel.

Fogwell's Gym of course also introduces Roscoe Sweeney, otherwise known as "The Fixer" from the comics.
