Comedies have an easy advantage when it comes to binge-watching, since they're shorter, and Friends From College was made even easier to race through by having just eight episodes in its first season.
It also helped that it had such a talented, well-liked cast, led by Cobie Smulders and Keegan-Michael Key, though unfortunately their talents were largely squandered on the show.

The show falls back on a number of lazy cliches on postgrads and reunions, the characters are all completely unlikable (and uninteresting), and the show fails to find any real comedy within its premise.
