2. A Starring Role For David Corenswet

If you watched Murphy's The Politician, you'll probably recognise David Corenswet instantly. The young actor received praise from fans for his moving performance as River Barkley, but the show was criticised for removing his character from the full-time equation far too soon.

With that in mind, the prospect of him having a meatier, leading role in Hollywood quickly became one of the most exciting things about the miniseries. And boy, did that excitement pay off.

With his dreamy Clark Kent look and good intentions, Jack Castello was a leading man waiting to happen, and Corenswet brought that to life with so much charm.

Much like his character, a bright future awaits this star.
