Obi-Wan Kenobi - 10 Things You Missed

10. C-3P0 And R2-D2 Cameo

Because C-3PO and R2-D2 are in nearly every Star Wars instalment, every one was expecting the duo to show up in Obi-Wan Kenobi. Even though both droids appear in the first episode, a lot viewers missed them!

In the beginning of Bail Organa's party, Threepio can be spotted in the background speaking to guests. Although some viewers mistook him for a random protocol droid, this is the same neurotic robot we've seen time and time again throughout the saga.

But his robotic companion is a bit harder to see. Immediately after Leia dashes into the woods, we cut to a scene of Bail speaking with Breha. If you look to the very right, you should notice R2-D2.

Although seeing the pair again seems like nothing more than a nice cameo, it does have a bit of significance. Even though any stuntman could've played C-3PO for his brief appearance, the original actor, Anthony Daniels, reprised the role, making this the 11th time he's appeared in live-action as the bumbling droid.

On top of that, Daniels has the distinction of being the only actor from the original Star Wars to play the same character in this series.
