At the end of the episode, Rumple left Belle with a protection spell, which she was to cast in order to protect Storybrooke. The writers have confirmed that Belle will appear in Storybrooke sometime during Season 3, taking up a more proactive role in leading the town-hopefully as Storybrookes de facto mayor, now that both sheriffs and the mayor have vanished on HenryQuest. Other cast members such as Beverly Elliot (Granny), Keegan Connor Tracy (the Blue Fairy) and David Anders (Victor Frankenstein) have all confirmed that theyll appear in Season 3 on outlets such as Twitter and TV Line. One character that we might not see too much of is Ruby: Meghan Ory will be starring on CBSs Intelligence this fall and is no longer a regular on the show. However, considering that Intelligence is also filmed in Vancouver, dont entirely rule out a Ruby cameo in Season 3.
