The antagonist of season 1, who continually threatens and torments Piper to the point where she snaps and punches her teeth out. For the most part shes an evangelical Christian, although it gets toned down later in season 2, who strongly opposes homosexuality and believes in her ability to heal people. Before prison she was a drug addict, who we see after she undergoes her fifth abortion. When the nurse taunts her about this, she proceeds to shoot her, which makes her a hero in the eyes of far-right pro-life groups, and sets her on the path to becoming a devout Christian. In season 2 she develops a strange relationship with Sam Healy, being counselled by him and bonding over distrust of the fellow inmates and homophobia. That could lead to some confrontation in season 3, and a return to a more antagonistic role, especially with the return to prison of Alex Vause.
