The cost-cutting measures of MCC, the new group in charge of running the prison, had a pretty big impact on life at Litchfield. The most notable of these were the quality of the food - which led to a number of inmates claiming to be Jewish - and the walkout of the prison guards. What will the prison be like when we return? The guards said that Litchfield needed them more than they needed it, and that was proved in the season finale as the inmates escaped into the lake. The prison needs the old guards back, and so does the show. Caputo is now running things, which means we should be seeing a lot more of him, but with the guards on strike and the population of the prison increasing, hes going to have one hell of a job on his hands.
