Parks & Recreation Cast: Where Are They Now?
12. Billy Eichner
The outburst prone Craig Middlebrooks enjoyed a brief tenure in the main cast, only being added 4 episodes into season 7 after a recurring role in season 6. Comedian Billy Eichner was best known for hosting the game show Billy on the Street near the start of the 2010s decade. The show follows Eichner on the streets of Manhattan as he quizzes random pedestrians on pop cultural topics. Beginning on the Fuse TV channel, the series jumped over to truTV for its fourth and fifth series. Since then, it has been reformatted into short-form episodes for the Funny or Die website with Eichner hosting to this day.
Eichner’s best known role since Parks and Recreation’s finale is probably Timon in last year’s remake of The Lion King. Eichner received critical acclaim for his humorous performance. Many viewers cited Eichner’s comedic chemistry with Poomba costar Seth Rogen as a highlight of the film.
Eichner later starred in Noelle, a Christmas comedy for the Disney+ streaming service late last year. Portraying the inept Gabriel Kringle, Eichner acted opposite Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader, all of whom were playing relatives of Santa Claus. The film received mixed reviews.
He will portray political commentator Matt Drudge in American Crime Story: Impeachment later this year.
