10. The Trio

They're just so terrible. Jonathan, Andrew and their leader Warren were three outcasts that banded together to become supervillains and take over Sunnydale. A collection of awful stereotypes, the Trio were the main comic relief in an otherwise dreary sixth season that took a more darker turn as Warren became more outwardly villainous. This all led to Warren killing Tara in the third act of the season.

As bad guys, no one in the show would take them seriously, which made them hard for audiences to take seriously. They were rarely funny, always annoying and more often than not given far too much screen time than they deserved.

Warren, who became an open misogynist and a generally detestable presence, was particularly frustrating to watch. It became tedious to see Buffy and co. put up with three normal guys who worked out of Warren's mother's basement as much as they did. They're the worst part of the worst season of the show.
