10. Archie Creates The 'Red Circle' Gang (Season 2)

When the Black Hood came to town - one of Riverdale's many serial killers - Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) was one of those most personally affected. The Black Hood killed both Miss Grundy - Archie's ex-girlfriend and music-teacher - and attempted to kill Archie's dad, Fred.

Feeling that the Police department weren't doing enough, Archie took matters into his own hands and created the 'Red Circle' gang. This was basically the high-school football team donning red balaclavas. The 'Red Circle' gang promised to protect the residents of Riverdale but the whole thing was put to bed after a few episodes.

It wasn't difficult for parents and teachers to figure out who was in the gang so it's a wonder what they aimed to achieve. Archie continues to make stupid choices in the show as well. His biggest decision used to be deciding whether to pursue football or music, but even now in Season Four, Archie is still on his testosterone-fuelled crusade to save the world.

There's no denying that Archie is buff - it seems to be a prerequisite in Riverdale - but no matter how he chooses to implement his brute strength, it's never going to fix all of Riverdale's problems.
