Even though Carl's Funeral is a hilarious, you don't usually laugh out loud while watching it. You feel so god-awful watching Johnny fumbling his way through the service, you want to look away. What's worse is that every time Johnny tries to make things better, he makes things more awkward. When he asks Bob how his brother died, he claims he was killed after "accidentally" catching his belt in a ceiling fan. Watching the horror on Johnny's face as he realises Bob is in denial that his sibling committed suicide is so cringey, you can barely watch.

Just when you thought the whole situation couldn't be more embarrassing, Moira belts out a hilarious rendition of Danny Boy in the middle of her husband's eulogy. Does it make things better? Not really. But is it uproariously inappropriate? Absolutely.
