9. Jordan

Jordan - played by Christa Miller - started with incredible promise when she debuted in the series. Introduced as the ex-wife of Dr Cox, we knew that whoever had once chosen to spend their life with the mean-spirited doctor must be a piece of work, and Jordan sure was. She was rude, cruel and took no prisoners, much like Perry.

Unfortunately, things started to go awry when her character began to re-connect romantically with her ex-husband. The edge that she started with was still there to an extent but became softened around the edges in an attempt to make her more traditionally likeable. Unfortunately, this led to the role feeling watered down and somewhat bland.

After she was stripped of her incredibly stand-offish personality, the showrunners tried a few ways to keep her familiar but evolved, and sadly none of these worked too well.

The character went from a stone-cold presence to a lukewarm romantic interest, which is a shame because Miller did such wonderful things with the part whenever she got the opportunity.
