8. Up - Matt Murdock

Let’s get to this particular Up straight away, as we all knew it would land here even before the episode dropped. Though his appearance in She-Hulk may not be his triumphant return to the MCU after first showing his face in Spider-Man: No Way Home, this was still ridiculously highly anticipated.

From as early as the announcement of She-Hulk, fans theorised that she could sit opposite Matt Murdock in the courtroom one day, and this was that day. He dramatically came through the doors fashionably late, cracked a joke, and set about legally kicking Jen’s ass.

Not only did he demonstrate that he is one hell of a lawyer, particularly with his own secret identity on the line, but Matt’s interactions with Jen outside of the courtroom were arguably even better. He was charming, he was funny, and it’s easy to see why he was doing it for Jen.

Fans had every right to be worried about how the far more comedic She-Hulk: Attorney at Law would handle the typically dark and gritty Man Without Fear, but there can be few complaints after this episode. Everything just worked, and not just as Matt Murdock…
