After Bart's comic book becomes a success, an online company quickly secures a deal to create the animated cartoon version of Angry Dad. In a humorous, meta-reference, Homer's real life voice actor Dan Castellaneta auditions for the character inspired by the man he voices. Fans will have recognised Castellaneta by the baseball cap and sunglasses he is almost always seen wearing as well as by the fact that he knocks his audition for Angry Dad/Homer out the park. The talented voice actor is responsible not just for voicing the iconic father of the Simpson's household but also for Grampa, Barney, Groundskeeper Willie and Krusty the Clown.
