Episode: Bart's Comet (S6 E14) Thinking that humanity is about to come to an untimely demise as Bart's comet crashes into Earth, the always-professional Kent Brockman takes the opportunity to broadcast a list of closet homosexuals. Thinking that there isn't going to be a tomorrow Springfield's regular anchorman kindly takes the opportunity to spite a handful of people in their final few hours. Though the names are nigh on unreadable to the naked eye, slowing down the fast scrolling list reveals a rather hilarious Easter Egg. Brockman's big reveal actual shows the names of none other than the Simpson's creators. Groening's three biological children may disprove any doubts there might be about his sexuality but the Easter Egg was superb and hilarious in its own right. Interestingly the list doesn't include the show's writer John Swartzelder or the director Bob Anderson. Maybe they disproved of such tomfoolery.
