In the classic 1993 episode "Cape Feare", Bart receives a litany of mysterious death threats and becomes paranoid, and that paranoia turns to fear when he realises none other than Sideshow Bob is behind the threats, writing him from prison. When his arch enemy is later released from jail, having convinced the parole board he is no longer a threat to Bart, the Simpson family opt into the witness relocation program, move to Terror Lake, buy themselves a houseboat and change their name to the 'Thompsons'. As if that wasn't enough, the 'Thompsons' even got their own, special intro complete with couch gag.
