Another bizarre yet entertaining intro was the rendition of Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" featuring a lip-syncing Lisa Simpson as various other characters join in on the dance song. This gag broke with tradition somewhat in that usually, only the "Treehouse of Horror" episodes see a change of format where the intro is concerned. There's no skateboarding Bart, no car-driving Maggie, or saxophone-playing Lisa, just some of the show's more popular of characters getting up to all kinds of antics. The gag ends on the couch, which is hoisted into the air as the Simpsons sit down.
