Smallville: 10 Best Characters Only In One Episode

10. Rudy Jones

Brendan Fletcher is an actor most likely best known for Freddy vs. Jason or more recently as one of Oliver Queen's prison buddies-turned-enemies in Arrow. Always capable of making the very best of whichever roles he's afforded, Fletcher likewise had a standout turn in Smallville.

Said turn came during the Season 8 episode, 'Injustice'. There, Fletcher played Rudy Jones, a member of Tess Mercer's team of rogues who was Smallville's take on DC Comics' Parasite villain.

Living up to his moniker, Rudy was able to extract powers and abilities from other metahumans and any aliens who happen to be in his vicinity - with 'Injustice' showing him absorbing the powers of both Livewire and Clark Kent.

Of course, Parasite's gifts came at a cost, and he'd also absorb the weaknesses of anyone whose abilities he'd nabbed. That would ultimately lead to his demise, with the Green Arrow using a kryptonite ring on Rudy after he'd engulfed the powers of Clark towards the end of 'Injustice'. It was then that he'd give Clark's powers back to him, before Parasite and fellow rogue Plastique were hauled off for a spell behind bars.
