Sons Of Anarchy Season 7: 7 Reasons To Be Excited

By Jack Morrell /

2. Charming Is Going To Hell

After seasons of backstabbing, secret deals, intrigue and more drive-bys than you can point a gun sideways at, the tentative peace is off. From all reports, the Chinese, the Byz-Lats and the Mayans have got the knives out. Jackson€™s always tried to steer the club clear of this kind of conflict in the past. Whether struggling to keep his family safe or scheming to get the Sons Of Anarchy clear of the illegal arms trade, the young MC boss has kept his dancing feet firmly out of the way of all-out gang warfare, pirouetting past beefs with uber-gangster Damon Pope, the IRA, and every rattlesnake-mean criminal with a Glock and an attitude in northern California. That all seems to be over now. Jackson€™s going to war, and all bets are off. If the only thing he has left to protect is the club itself, he€™s going to turn it into an army: and woe betide anyone that gets in SAMCRO€™s way. There€™s going to be blood on the streets, and Byz-Lats head honcho Nero, Jackson€™s friend and father figure (now that Clay is out of the picture), is going to be in the thick of things. Already on the outs with SAMCRO thanks to Juice€™ confession of Jax€™ orders to kill the Jennings woman €“ something Jackson lied to him about €“ Nero is also Gemma€™s lover, committed to his relationship with Jackson€™s volatile mother€ a mother who killed Jackson€™s wife and widowed him. Yeah, that€™s not complex at all. Jerry Springer would have a field day. But at this rate, Nero€™s going to be the third paternal role model that Jax loses courtesy of his mother.
