South Park: 10 Best Characters Who Appeared After Season One

10. Al Gore

South Park bashing politicians is hardly anything new, but they went to town on Al Gore.

The show tore him apart so much that he ended up being a beloved recurring character who is more relevant thanks to the personality they assigned him than the satire he displays. Who doesn't love a character who's "super cereal".

Al Gore was briefly shown in the season three episode "Red Badge Of Gayness", but the season 10 outing "ManBearPig" fully introduced him and his infamous rival, the dreaded half man, half bear, half pig monster.

Gore was instantly hilarious as his goofy voice and lack of self-awareness was savage. They painted him like a wannabe superhero who saw himself as the saviour of the world but left kids to die in the process.

As he progressed in the show, he devolved into a conspiracy nut obsessionist who spent his life hunting the dreaded ManBearPig. To make matters even better, the global warming messages Gore was initially mocked for are now taken seriously by the show, making the gag come full circle.
