2. Kenny Dies- Heat of the Moment

Kenny Dies, is one of those television episodes that genuinely strikes an emotional chord with its fans and somehow succeeds in retaining many humorous moments.

Cartman is completely convincing as Kenny€™s heartbroken activist friend, as he cries on Kyle€™s shoulder, swears he will find a cure and later delivers a heartfelt speech to Congress about his friend Kenny. As he convinces them to legalise stem-cell research, he admits his ability to deliver a speech is lacking, so bursts into a rendition of Asia€™s Heat of the Moment. It would have been easy to fill this list with Cartman€™s many songs; this is the child who has sped through Styx€™s Come Sail Away, ad libbed Lady Gaga€™s Poker Face, and even received a Myrrh album full of Christian pop songs. Yet, Heat of the Moment captures his high pitched dedication to the art of song, and shows the effect Cartman can have on people as he gains backing for stem cell research. The powers that be begin stamping their feet and clapping their hands to the beat. He finally proves what his manipulative skills can achieve when he genuinely cares. Of course, that doesn€™t last for very long. It is one of his finest moments and one which gives him a chance to show his beautiful singing voice. There is only one other moment which showcases this to greater effect...
