Squid Game: Every Game Ranked Worst To Best
6. Marbles
Before starting this entry, it is crucial to note the merits of this episode. The sixth chapter of the series (titled "Gganbu") is, without a doubt, the most emotional and shocking outing in the season. You see the devastating loss of multiple characters, and a lot of that had to do with this game's freedom and relaxed rules. With that being said, it doesn't make Marbles any less lame.
In this one, the contestants are taken to the set of a village, told to get into pairs and handed ten marbles each. They're then given a short amount of time to play any game they want, so long as it results in one of them gaining all the marbles of their partner.
As you can tell, this one is pretty threadbare. It made sense to keep this game simple as the episode highlights come from the interactions between the characters. However, the game itself had no specific structure or rules, making it seem less compelling than the others.
To add more wood to that fire, it's also the most visually dull of all the games, and thus, an easy choice for the bottom bracket.
