5. Narissa Explains It All

It's taken her a while to get here, but Narissa's emergence as the show's most pressing, present evil felt like it finally delivered this week. She's been operating in the shadows thus far, and more notable for this whole will-they-won't-they-please-god-don't-let-them romance with her own brother, but here she stands alone as our primary antagonist.

Obviously she's just a small player in the grander narrative of this galaxy-spanning Federation/Romulan/Borg mess, but she's the most current threat at the moment. Performance wise, Peyton List is making a real case for being one of the most watchable things on the show week on week, and with her Romulan Cruel Intentions phase behind her for the time-being, she's thriving in the role.
