3. Data's "Daughter"

It's confirmed near the end of the episode that Dahj and her twin sister Soji are in fact Data's twin daughters of-sorts, prompting Picard to declare that Data "always wanted a daughter."

This will have The Next Generation fans immediately recalling Lal (Hallie Todd), the android "daughter" that Data built for himself in the season three episode "The Offspring."

Despite being of superior intellect and feeling to Data, Lal sadly wasn't long for this world, and succumbed to a cascade failure by the end of the episode.

Though Dahj is dead meat by the end of Picard's first episode, hopefully Data might have better luck with his other surviving "child."
