This various star ships appeared in the battle for Earth that opened Star Trek: First Contact and have continued to show up in every major battle since, particularly the aforementioned Sacrifice of Angels. Sure, we dont know much about their capabilities, but we have seen them in action time and time again. And what I love about these ships are the designs. They dont all confirm to the classic saucer and nacelle designs of ships like the Enterprise or Voyager. They look badass. Ships you want in the fight. My favourite? The Akira-class USS Thunderchild from Star Trek: First Contact. You couldnt get a more badass name if you tried.
