Star Wars: Ranking Every Animated Series From Worst To Best
6. Star Wars Forces Of Destiny
Star Wars Forces of Destiny is undoubtedly an important, albeit small, aspect of the direction Disney is currently taking the franchise.
In recent years, conscious efforts have been made to increase the amount of female representation in the franchise, so building a show around some of Star Wars' best female protagonists from all eras of the timeline is a great way to help win over the next generation of fans.
Just because Forces of Destiny is a decent children's show with a positive goal, however, doesn't mean it stands up to some of the other Star Wars animated series out there.
The animation is very simplistic and the anthology format doesn't exactly lend itself to long-term storytelling, especially considering that each episode is only about two minutes long.
This is a great series to show your kids if you're trying to get them interested in Star Wars, but only the youngest of kids will really get anything out of it. (It is worth mentioning that the comic books the show has spawned do deliver a bit more depth.)
