Well, it's not over, and get ready to feel those first two again, because Making A Murderer is returning to Netflix for a second season.

It's been confirmed that Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos, filmmakers of the original documentary - which debuted on Netflix late last year and captured the world's attention - will be making more episodes, picking up the case of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey as their respective legal teams challenge their convictions.

It'll take a look at the post-conviction process, and the emotional toll all of his has taken on the parties involved. A new season had been anticipated for some time, not just because of how well received the first was, but due to the fact that Avery's case was continuing, with a new lawyer in place - Kathleen Zellner. Of the second season, Ricciardi and Demos said:

"We are extremely grateful for the tremendous response to, and support of, the series. The viewers’ interest and attention has ensured that the story is not over, and we are fully committed to continuing to document events as they unfold."

It's likely to be a rather different beast to the first season, as Avery is now a household name and there will likely be a lot more media attention, but there's no doubting that people want to see more of this case, with more evidence expected to come to light.
