While Dustin's decision to keep it as a pet was highly questionable, Dart returns in heartwarming fashion at the end, allowing them to pass by thanks to a friendly word and the offering of some nougat. Somehow, it makes the dangerous Demogog rather sweet. More like d'Awwtagnan, eh?
