Dust off the D&D, stick some Eggos in the toaster, and maybe go for a bike ride to burn off the energy caused by all the excitement. Yes, it's time for our world to be turned Upside Down once again.

Outside of Lady Gaga and Tom Brady, one of the most talked about aspects from Super Bowl LI has been the Stranger Things Season 2 teaser. The event is always a huge showcase for movies, but it was the TV series that really stole the show this year, with a 30-second clip that promised a Halloween 2017 return.

Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Will, and - yes - Eleven are all coming back, this time with added Ghostbusters references (since S2 takes place in 1984). The brief clip did its job, which was to whip everyone up into an excited frenzy, but in terms of plot it left us with more questions than answers.

9. What's With The Ghostbusters Costumes?

One of the real attention grabbing shots of the teaser, which makes the wise move of putting Dustin (everyone's favourite out of the school kids) front and centre, sees the gang dressed up as Ghostbusters.

To some degree it makes sense: this takes place in 1984, the year Ghostbusters was released in cinemas, making them the perfect age to obsess over the film, and then complain about their childhoods being ruined 32-years-later by an all-female reboot (provided they survive that long).

But then... it's not like this is some fancy dress day at school. So why are they dressed up as Ghostbusters? Sure, maybe they just wanted to do something different, but could there be an actual narrative reason for them to be doing it?
