Blunt, irritating and devoid of any real substance, Non was perhaps the dullest of all Arrowverse villains.

Completely lacking in character growth, he started the show's debut season wanting to eradicate Supergirl from the world and ended it doing just the same. While there was opportunity to highlight how the death of Astra impacted his desire for revenge, it was impossible to capitalise on, simply because he was already vengeance-driven before that.

Without Astra by his side, he allowed himself to be manipulated by Indigo, and that only exposed the fact that he was never strong enough to carry the show as its primary villain.
