Finally! Cat Grant has been positioned as a smart, savvy type who even has a past as an investigate journalist in her own right. As such, much like was so often the case with Lois Lane and Superman over the years, it was a tad baffling that shed work with Kara on a daily basis yet hadnt realised that her assistant was actually the Girl of Steel, Supergirl. But here, at the close of Hostile Takeover, we see Cat finally put the pieces together and deduce that Kara and Supergirl are one and the same. The scene itself was one of the better parts of this episode and even the season as a whole, but it was sadly cut short as Kara had to shoot off to help out the DEO. By this point in the show, youd like to think that Cat will keep Karas secret and help assist her in any way that she can but this could certainly go in a number of different ways.
