9. Sara Gilbert - Leslie Winkle

Another of Sheldon's arch-nemesis', Leslie Winkle was portrayed by Sara Gilbert, appearing in a total of nine episodes between 2007 and 2016 as a recurring love interest/just friend for Leonard. Despite being a genius like the four main guys of the show, Winkle was capable of adapting to social situations more naturally.

The actress has since gone on to appear as herself in a handful of popular shows, including Supergirl and Jane The Virgin, and also took up the role of Professor Judd on Netflix's autism-based drama Atypical.

Aside from her time on TBBT, Sara has made a name for herself due to her work on both Roseanne and The Conners, where she played the role of Darlene Conner(-Healy). Appearing in 228 episodes of the former and 31 episode - so far - of the latter, Gilbert also worked as an executive producer on both shows. She only became a producer for Roseanne during nine episodes, whereas she's credited in a producing role for 30 episodes of The Conners.

Sara is no stranger to being a producer, of course, having produced a mammoth 1,106 episodes of The Talk.
