2. How Will Leonard And Penny Cope As Parents?

Following their pregnancy news in the finale episode, Leonard and Penny now have to deal with the prospect of them raising a child together, something that may be daunting to them at first. In fairness, they've had plenty of practice seeing as they've lived around Sheldon for long enough. Even though he's smarter than the pair of them, it is fair to say that he's acted like a baby on more than a few occasions.

To say they're suited to the role of caring for a child would be an understatement. They may have had their ups and downs during their relationship, but now is undoubtedly the best possible time for TBBT's power couple to expand their family. We've seen Howard and Bernadette coping with two infants running around their home, so what harm is one new child to the group?

It's a shame we'll never see Leonard and Penny adapting to being parents. Without a shadow of a doubt, it would make for some interesting scenes. Instead, we'll just have to think about how they'd handle Hofstadter Jr. running amok. We can only assume Penny would handle the situation better than Leonard at first because she's always been used to these tougher scenarios.
