It is a commonly agreed statement that those who choose invisibility when asked what power they'd like to have are most likely going to turn out to be a bit creepy. Choosing the ability not to be seen over much more useful abilities like flight and strength means that you certainly have at least some questionable ideas of what to do with those powers.

This belief is carried over in to The Boys, as the character with this ability is the creepiest member of the Seven. Translucent uses his power mostly to stalk women, instead of doing anything more useful.

Though this ability is quite useful from a policing point of view - you never know when he's around - it's not much use in terms of superhero fighting. Once you pour something over him, you can see him and stop his one piece of leverage over you.

Though his invulnerable skin grants him some resilience, and it takes a bomb in a very rude place to finally finish him, he’s still not much of a hero compared to the others on this list.
