The Flash: 28 Great Behind The Scenes Shots You Must See

See the heroes of Central City like you've never seen them before!

When you think of famous superheroes, Green Arrow is rarely the first to come to mind, so few could have predicted the colossal success of the TV show Arrow. The idea that Oliver Queen's small screen exploits could result in further spin-offs must have seemed even more unlikely, yet in season two, the creators of Arrow took a gamble and introduced their most recognisable name yet, The Flash. Grant Gustin's debut as Barry Allen was received so well that CW immediately commissioned a pilot starring the Scarlet Speedster, which inevitably developed into a popular show in its own right. While Arrow explores the seedy underbelly of the criminal underworld in Starling City, The Flash takes a more family-friendly approach to superheroics, pitting the speedster against a variety of meta-humans who each possess fantastical powers of their own. This light-hearted take on DC's beloved characters seems to continue off set too, as the cast and crew regularly goof around as soon as the cameras stop rolling. Seems like it really is as fun to make a superhero show as it seems. Don't believe it? Read on to discover 28 great behind the scenes shots you must see and remember to share your love for The Flash if you like what you've seen!

28. Dun, Dun, Dunnnnnn!

Is this it for the Scarlet Speedster? Did the Rogues Gallery finally finish off our beloved hero? Or is Grant Gustin just having a nap on set?
