6. How Much Do Connections Between Doppelgängers Matter?
I'd already been wondering what the connections between doppelgängers was before it was confirmed such a thing even existed, so I was pretty glad when Earth-2 Cisco mentioned it. It was reinforced when Cisco seemed to feel it when his evil counterpart was killed by Zoom. This is the first opportunity we've had to see various versions of these characters interact, so I wonder if there's more to explore on that side of things. Is there some sort of innate understanding between the doppelgängers, and do they feel it if something happens to the other one? If so, how much impact does it actually have? Would Earth-1 Joe feel Earth-2 Joe dying? What about Caitlin's reaction to her being a villain on Earth-2? The show had fun with doppelgängers here, but there could still be plenty more to come.
